Company Sweetco Group of Companies: A Legacy of Quality and Dedication Since 1929
SWEETCO began as a humble trading company, Chop Swee Thye, established in 1929, at Lebuh Ampang, Kuala Lumpur. Starting as an agent for foreign canvases and mats.
In 1977, SWEETCO was incorporated as Sweetco Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. (0032353T / 197701001384) , the office was moved to Wisma Sweetco, no. 1, Jalan Baiduri, off Jalan San Peng, Kuala Lumpur.
In 1983, SWEETCO had set-up Malaysia’s first PVC flooring factory, Tae Hwa Jaya Sdn. Bhd. (now know as Maslino Sdn. Bhd.) in Kangar, Perlis to produce PVC flooring. The factory was a joint venture among founder of SWEETCO, Dato’ Ng Wee Yiew, South Koreans and Perlis state government.
Leadership and Recognition
Under the leadership of Dato’ Ng Wee Yiew, Sweetco has achieved remarkable growth. His dedication and vision, coupled with numerous awards including the Golden Eagle Award, have solidified Sweetco’s reputation.
Sweetco Enterprise Sdn. Bhd. was awarded the Golded Eagle Award in the year 2016 and 2007.
